Elementary Reading and Mathematics (Grades K–6)

Our new specialization contains proven strategies to create a classroom that succeeds in both reading and mathematics. Enhance your instructional skills in reading while you deepen your own understanding of key mathematical concepts. Foster literary and analytical skills in your young learners using research-based strategies, proven diagnostic tools for struggling readers, and techniques to motivate learners. Also, develop a deeper understanding of K–6 mathematics concepts that your students are expected to learn and, consequently, increase the effectiveness of your mathematics instruction.

 

Completion Requirements

  • 30 total semester credit hours
  • Program Portfolio
